Insurance Cover/British Cyling Membership

As a member of PROPS Cycling Club it is very important that you read and understand the following:
​
All members of PROPS CC and invited individuals accept responsibility for their own conduct and safety (including the safety of your bicycle and other equipment) during club activities. You take part in all club events entirely at your own risk.
​
PROPS CC is not able to provide any type of insurance cover for members and therefore we strongly recommend that you take out appropriate third party insurance for your own safety and peace of mind. Ride, Silver or Gold Membership of British Cycling, or Individual and Family membership of the CTC can offer you this level of cover.
​
As a member of PROPS Cycling Club you are entitled to up to £20.00 discount on your first year of (Ride, Silver or Gold) British Cycling Membership. Each of these membership packages includes £10 million third party liability insurance cover.

To claim your discount for British Cycling Membership, please follow the sequence below carefully.

Go to britishcycling.org.uk

On the home page click on ‘Membership’ tab.

Membership page will now appear.

Choose the level of membership you require. Remember that to benefit from £10m third party liability cover you need to choose one of the following RIDE SILVER or GOLD

Click ‘Buy Now’ tab of your chosen option. This will take you to a new page.

Complete all the fields.

When you get to ‘CLUB MEMBERS’ box type in ‘PROPS Cycling Club’.

Under – ‘Other Information’ *where did you hear about us? Click on ‘Cycling Club’ in the drop down menu. ‘Referred By’ – Type in 935573

Complete the remainder of the application form – ‘Optional Extras’ and ‘Volunteers’.

On the payment page – check all details are correct. In ‘Promotional Code’ box type in ‘NEWCMRA’.

Hit – APPLY button.

Your revised ‘Purchase Total’ will now appear in the PURCHASE SUMMARY box.
