PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPORT​

Since its foundation, PROPS CC has been rasing money for the Bristol special needs charity PROPS.

PROPS stands for Providing Opportunities and Support.  Based in the Vassell Centre in Fishponds Bristol, PROPS provides vocational training and social enterprise for young people with a wide range of physical and learning disabilities.

Our mission is to help those with learning difficulties and disabilities to achieve their full potential in our community.

 

OUR VISION

​

We believe that all young people in our community should have the opportunity to lead fulfilling and participative lives, both on a social, and a professional level, regardless of any cognitive or physical disabilities. By providing access to practical learning, worthwhile experiences and skills development for these young people, we will achieve this goal.

 

HOW WE DO THIS

 

We do this by providing opportunities and support to foster and nurture inclusion in our community. We work with a number of community partners to encourage integration through a range of initiatives including the promotion of business enterprise to social and educational interaction, including sports, leisure and performing arts.
 
Through our three main routes of Guided Independence, Progressive Development and Life Long Learning, our students can choose their own individual development pathways that are best suited to their needs.
