2018 Club Calendar

As I’m sure you know, PROPS CC has a very hard working committee, who over the last few weeks have been very busy planning for the 2018 season. We've updated the club website with a new Calendar page where you can stay informed of everything we have planned. Obviously all these plans are subject to change so keep an eye on our Facebook group, for up to the minute updates.

Alongside the ever popular Saturday club runs, we have a fantastic series of events in which we hope you will participate in. Here are the highlights:

2018 Events

Sat, 16 Dec 2017 – Christmas Social and Tinsel Ride, 9:30am Ashton Court/5pm Zerodegrees

Join us for our usual Ashton Court Saturday morning ride (tinsel advised/fancy dress optional) and re-group at Zerodegrees Microbrewery in Bristol for an afternoon of beers, pizza and socialising. A great opportunity to catch up off the bike - friends, family and non-cyclists all welcome, don't forget your Christmas jumpers!

Sat, 13 Jan 2018 – Props CC AGM, 1-2PM The Swan Hotel, Almondsbury (Exact Date and Details TBC)

Join us for the club annual general meeting. An opportunity to reflect on the highs and lows of the year and have your say about how to improve things going forward.

Sun, 25 Feb 2018 – Props CC Velodrome (Exact Date and Details TBC)

Subject to securing a booking, join us for some track time on the boards at Newport Velodrome. Coach provided, beginners and experienced riders welcome - see if you can set the quickest flying lap!

Fri, 13 Apr 2018 – Props CC Majorca Trip

Following the success of this year, PROPS CC are planning another trip to Majorca for 2018. A great opportunity to get some sunny training miles in ahead of the summer or as part of your Bristol to Bordeaux training plan.

Sun, 3rd June 2018 – PROPS CC Sportive

Get this date in your diary !! Back again for 2018, our very own club sportive. Three awesome routes to choose from, feed stations, mechanical support, fully signed and great social event at the finish. What more can you ask for? Sign up, get friends and family involved and if you don’t fancy riding the event then why not volunteer to help out on the day.

Wed, 4th July 2018 – Bristol to Bordeaux

The highlight of the year for those lucky enough to have got a place this year. If you are fortunate enough to be on the B2B challenge then keep up the training. If you are not on the short list, then why not sponsor a fellow club member who is. Don't forget to register your interest for B2B 2019 - it WILL fill up FAST.

Fri, 7th Sep 2018 – Brecon Beacons, Clyngwyn Bunkhouse, (Exact Date and Details TBC)

Subject to enough interest, we will be heading back to ride some of the best routes in the country. The scenery is stunning, the tarmac super smooth and the company sublime. We have exclusive use of a beautiful bunkhouse and campsite. The perfect getaway...and a great opportunity for some cycling, walking, wild swimming or plain and simple relaxation.

Sat, 10th November 2018 – Annual Club Dinner

After the success of last year, the 2018 Props CC Annual Dinner will return to Bocobar. stay tuned for more information.
